DON MILLAR

Don is an award-winning writer and director who combines a passion for the visual arts with a commitment to creative excellence in story-telling.

His credits include the feature documentaries LOOT: STORY OF CRIME AND REDEMPTION (2025) and BOTERO (2018) as well as short documentaries including RIDE THE VIBRATIONS (2021) and A FINAL SKETCH (2024).  

Don draws on immersive experience in the international art world, including as a board member at the Contemporary Art Gallery (Vancouver) and an Ambassador for HET HEM (Amsterdam). Don is a lens-based artist.

Don has written and directed high impact issue advocacy advertising projects for television and digital release in Canada and the United States.  He previously worked as a Managing Director at New York and London based FTI Consulting.  Don also served as a Board member of Canadian-American Business Council.
